Media Moves at Politico and PopSugar, Recorded Future Hires Editorial Director to Launch a New Publication

Adam Janofsky has joined Recorded Future as an editorial director. He will launch a new cybersecurity publication called The Record by Recorded Future. He comes from Protocol where he worked as a reporter. Janofsky has also worked at The Wall Street Journal as an editor and at Inc. magazine as a video journalist.

Morning Brew has hired Hayden Field as an emerging tech writer and writing for Morning Brew’s Emerging Tech Brew. Field was most recently a reporter for Protocol and wrote about artificial intelligence and the people and power of technology. She has also previously worked as an associate editor at Entrepreneur.

Yeganeh Torbati has joined the Washington Post as economic policy investigations reporter. She will play a central role on the economics team scrutinizing the tax, budget, trade and regulatory decisions made by Washington’s power brokers. She comes from ProPublica, where she covered government agencies and the scramble for medical equipment during the coronavirus. Before joining ProPublica, Yeganeh wrote for Reuters, where she covered immigration, national security and Iran.

PopSugar has welcomed Shelcy Joseph as an assistant editor for the SHOP vertical. She is also the founder of NYCXCLOTHES, and has also contributed to Forbes, Apartment Therapy and Who What Wear. 

Teresa Wiltz is the new politics editor for POLITICO, focusing on race and identity. She previously spent six years at Stateline as a staff writer and covered welfare, housing and social services. Before that, she has worked at Essence magazine as deputy editor, The Root as senior editor at the Washington Post as a staff writer.

WFRV-TV, the CBS television station in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has welcomed Natasha Ero as a digital anchor and multimedia journalist. She comes from KBMT-TV in Texas where she served as a producer and before that reported for Houston Style magazine.

WGNA-FM country radio in Albany, New York, has promoted Matty Jeff to director of content. He had served as the station's brand manager since 2015. Prior to joining Townsquare, Jeff has worked at WPOR and WYNZ in Portland, WNHW in Concord, New Hampshire, and WNNJ in Newton, New Jersey.

Robert " Max" Dye  is the new program director and afternoon Host for WWWX-FM in Appleton, Wisconsin. Dye has served as music director/imager/afternoon host since joining the station in 2017. He previously served as OM for WQDC/WLGE in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and PD/MD/morning host for WKRU in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
