The New York Times has welcomed Ruth Graham as national correspondent covering religion, faith and values. She comes from Slate, where she had been a staff writer since 2018. Graham has also worked as senior editor at Domino magazine and has contributed to the New York Times magazine, The Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, the Poetry Foundation's website, Marie Claire, the Awl, Al Jazeera America, Vulture, the Cut, the Daily, and others.
Barbara Fraser has been named climate editor at the National Catholic Reporter. She succeeds Bill Mitchell, who is now the publisher of the magazine. Fraser is a veteran freelance journalist who has more than 20 years of experience covering the environmental, public health and social issues in Latin America. Joe Fortenbaugh has joined ESPN as a host. He was most recently the morning co-host at KGMZ-FM San Francisco and has been on staff since 2014. Since March 2019 he has served as a regular contributor on the sports betting “Daily Wager” program that airs nightly on ESPNEWS.
ESPN has also welcomed Mike Golic as college football analyst. He will call games from the booth, and also provide analysis for College Football Live and SportsCenter, where he’ll also talk about the NFL. Golic is a veteran ESPN Radio host who has hosted the "Golic and Wingo" show for the past three years. Before that, he hosted the "Mike & Mike" show on ESPN for 18 years.
Rachel Scott has been promoted to ABC News White House correspondent and D.C. correspondent. She joined the network in 2016 as a production associate for the streaming news platform ABC News Live. While working full-time as a producer for GMA digital, she took on an additional role as an on-air correspondent for ABC’s New Haven affiliate, covering weekend news in the region.
KCIX-FM radio in Garden City, Idaho, has hired Angie Parker as a morning host. She hosts the "Moug & Angie Mornings" weekdays from 5-10 a.m. Parker succeeds Carly Cash, who exited the station.
