Media Moves at The Intercept & Law360, The Worcester Business Journal Hires Digital Reporter

Mara Hvistendahl has joined The Intercept as investigative reporter covering technology, national security and China. Before joining The Intercept, she worked for Science Magazine for seven years first as a contributing editor and China bureau chief and later as contributing correspondent. Hvistendahl has held posts at New America and The Chronicle of Higher Education as a national fellow and correspondent, respectively.
 
Law360 has hired Julia Arciga as a general assignment news reporter primarily covering legal news. Most recently, she served as a breaking news reporter for The Daily Beast. Before that, Arciga held posts at MediaFile, first as a politics editor and then editor in chief. She has also held posts at NBC News as a breaking news intern and CNN as an intern aiding in the production of The Situation Room.
 
Monica Busch has joined The Worcester Business Journal as a digital reporter covering manufacturing in central Massachusetts. In her new role, she is responsible for managing digital operations specifically the website, social media and daily newsletter. Before joining WBJ, Busch served as editor in chief for Manque Magazine.
 
WREX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rockford, Illinois, has promoted Audrey Moon to news director. She has been at the station since 2014 when she came on as an internet director. Most recently, Moon served as an assistant news director and also led the station's digital news. Before joining WREX-TV, she was a community news manager for Aggrego.
 
Bryan 'B-Dub' Washington has joined KNUC-FM, a commercial radio station in Bellevue, Washington, as assistant program director, music director and afternoon host. He joins the station from KWBL-FM, an iHeartMedia commercial station in Denver, Colorado, where he worked for more than two years. In his new role, Washington will take over afternoons for Corey Dillon and take on some programming duties from Scott Mahalick.
 
WJBK-FM, the Fox affiliate in Southfield, Michigan, has hired Michael Estime as a meteorologist. He comes from WKYC-TV, the NBC affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio, where he served in a similar role for four years. Before that, Estime was a morning, midday and noon meteorologist for WTVQ-TV, the ABC affiliate in Lexington, Kentucky.
 
Olivia Garvey has joined WJLA-TV, the ABC affiliate in Arlington, Virginia, as a weekend anchor and reporter. In her new role, she covers sports teams, franchise organizations and schools. She joins from KMIR-TV, the NBC affiliate in Palm Desert, California where she served as a sports reporter and director.
