Brittany Hite is the director of news tools and project management for the Los Angeles Times. She was most recently the newsroom project manager and worked across departments to set project roadmaps and ensure deadlines are met. She has been on staff with the paper since February 2019 and before that served as the digital editor for Barron's. Prior to that, Hite spent seven years at The Wall Street Journal.
The New York Times has announced several staff moves at three of its bureaus:
- Eleanor Dunn has moved to Seoul to continue her work as social editor there. She was most recently working at the London bureau and joined The Times from BBC in August 2019.
- Lara Takenaga has joined the London bureau as a senior audience editor, overseeing the social editor there. She has been with the paper since 2015 and most recently served as Coronavirus briefing writer and audience editor out of New York.
- Priya Arora (they/them) has moved to the Los Angeles bureau as social editor. They joined the paper in 2018 and has since served as an editor on the homepage. Arora came to The Times from HuffPost, where they worked as a front page and alert editor.
Jonathan Capriel now covers the business of education as reporter for the Washington Business Journal. He has been on staff since early 2019 and most recently covered the rise of Virginia Tech’s innovation campus in Alexandria as a precursor and partner to Amazon’s own HQ2 growth. Prior to WBJ, Capriel was a reporter for The Tampa Bay Times.
Bloomberg News has relocated reporter Jordyn Holman to the Atlanta bureau, where she covers Home Depot, Lowe’s and other retail stories. Holman previously covered the intersection of diversity and management in the workforce out of Bloomberg in New York and has made appearances on Bloomberg TV and Bloomberg Radio.
CBS Sports Radio has welcomed back Bill Reiter to host "Reiter Than You" weekdays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. ET. Reiter is also writer and sports personality for CBS SportsHQ and a national columnist for CBSSports.com. "Reiter Than You" is CBS Sports' first live, primetime digital television show. Before jumping to radio, Reiter was a newspaperman as a Miami Heat beat columnist. He has written for the Kansas City Star, Des Moines Register, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Chicago Tribune.
Tay Hamilton has joined WSIX-FM radio in Nashville, Tennessee, as an afternoon on-air personality and producer, alongside Wayne D. She was most recently hosting middays at country sister station KWNR-FM Las Vegas.
WLXC-FM in Columbia, South Carolina, has added Dee Dee Renee as midday personality. She was most recently hosting middays at WWDM in Sumter, South Carolina, exiting in May. With Renee’s arrival, program director Chris Connors has moved to afternoons.
