- Sarah Wheeler has been promoted to editor in chief. She joined the staff in 2013 as content editor and worked her way up to managing editor in 2015. Before joining HousingWire, Wheeler served as a copy editor for RAPP.
- Brena Nath is now managing editor of HW+. She began as a reporter for HousingWire in 2013 and and has also served as digital reporter and community editor.
- Kelsey Ramirez has been named editor. She most recently served as a managing editor for the magazine for four years. Before joining HousingWire, Ramirez was a freelance writer and a reporter for The Shorthorn UTA student newspaper.
Rachel Lerman has joined The Washington Post as a breaking news technology reporter based in San Francisco. She joins from The Associated Press where she served as a technology reporter covering Google. Before that Lerman was a technology reporter for the Seattle Times and the Puget Sound Business Journal.
The Verge has welcomed Sarah Jeong back as contributing writer. In her role Jeong will write a regular column about legal issues on social media platforms. She was a senior writer for The Verge before she left to join The New York Times editorial board in 2018.

WCPO-TV, the ABC affiliate in Cincinnati, Ohio, has hired Albert Stichka as an executive producer and content manager. Most recently, Stichka served as an executive producer for WTVR-TV, the Scripps station in Richmond, Virginia. In addition he has held posts at Media General in Charleston, South Carolina, as an executive producer for three years.
CJ Hoyt has joined Newstar stations WXIN-TV and WTTV-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana, as news director. Hoyt joins from WHTM-TV in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, where he served as news director since 2017. Before that, he was a news director for WZDX-TV in Huntsville, Alabama, for about a year.
