TrendKite Announces Platinum Sponsorship of PRSA Icon 2018

TrendKite, the Austin-based Digital PR Platform that puts earned media at the heart of the marketing mix, today announced that it will be the exclusive Platinum sponsor for the PRSA International Conference. PRSA ICON will be held October 7-9 2018 at the JW Marriott in downtown Austin. TrendKite has prominent booth placement in the exhibit hall and will be demonstrating several new products, updates and innovations for PR and communications professionals.

On Sunday, October 7, TrendKite will be sponsoring the opening day brunch, welcoming attendees to town  with a variety of breakfast tacos. On Monday, Oct. 8,starting at 7:00 pm, TrendKite will also be hosting a VIP reception at the Cedar Door directly across the street from the JW Marriott. The evening will be highlighted by local music, Texas barbeque and Mexican Martinis -- a local Austin specialty.

In addition, TrendKite is excited to host a key conference session on Monday, October 8 entitled The “Digital Transformation of Communications” (https://icon.prsa.org/meetings/743043). With the rise of digital, public relations has moved past mention counting and grown into a scalable marketing channel, just like advertising.  We’ve entered the age of “Moneyball PR,” which means ALL decisions are backed up with data analysis and tech-powered measurement. To augment this topic, TrendKite is excited to host Gay Gaddis, CEO of The Think Tank T3, Christina Felton, SVP Edelman, John King, VP of Marketing and Communications at SparkCognition and Sarah Moore, VP Revenue Marketing at Spredfast.

Kicking off Tuesday, October 10 sessions,  TrendKite’s CEO Erik Huddleston will be introducing keynote presenter Ann Handley, Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs. The first-ever recipient of a new ‘Hero Award’ given by the Content Marketing Institute and an inductee to its Hall of Fame, Ann’s keynote session will be centered on “The Big, Bold, Brave New World of Content & Storytelling” on day three of the conference.
